The "Three Steps" course group of the High School affiliated to Tsinghua University held a "Mars Return" lecture

On the afternoon of December 23, the Tsinghua High School "three walks" (the first day into the Yuanmingyuan, the second day into the science palace, the third day into the cultural classics) course group invited Dr. Wang Yue, the astronaut instructor of the China Astronaut Training Center, to the school to do a report entitled "Mars Return"。160 students from the innovation class of Grade 14 listened to the presentation。

Dr. Wang Yue introduced his own scientific research activities in the Mars 500 project from five aspects: routine work, landing work, diet, sleep and entertainment，Colleague Dr. Wang Yue also combined with the recent hit movie "The Martian" to talk about his own views，He believes that although science fiction films are somewhat exaggerated，However, it plays a considerable role in promoting the development and popularization of science and technology。最后，Dr. Wang Yue also shared his experience of more than 500 days of fully enclosed simulation with the students，He told the students to pass the project，Make him really understand what patriotism is，"He is confident because of his country，Persevere because of confidence."，同时，He also did not forget to encourage students to learn scientific knowledge，Find problems that interest you，And be able to settle down and study。

Between 2011 and 2012, Dr. Wang, together with six volunteers from Russia, France and Italy, participated in the Mars500 project, a large international experimental project organized by Russia and with the participation of many countries，The project lasts 520 days，The first 250 days are simulated flight to Mars, the intermediate 30 days are simulated landing on Mars, and the final 240 days are simulated return to Earth，Volunteers simulated flying to Mars, orbiting Mars, landing on Mars and returning to Earth。

This lecture is also one of the series of science lectures in the "Three Steps" project course of junior high School attached to Tsinghua University.It aims to let the students know more about the aerospace situation of our country, understand the latest progress of interplanetary flight, and provide help for their topic selection in the next semester。
